The city logo was launched on Jan. 1, 2016, and relies on the power of suggestion. In the logo, of course, you first read the 'D' of Deinze, then you see an exclamation point in it and if you turn your head a quarter turn you see a winking smiley face in it.

With this playful and modern house style, Deinze will be at everyone's 'beck and call': both young and old, associations, entrepreneurs, initiators, volunteers, artists, tourists, ... To integrate their logo into the landscape in a fun way, the city issued a tender for its production.

Because Deinze has been building a strong bicycle policy for years, the bicycle could not be missing and is an important element of the logo.
